Best Buy is currently offering the 5th, or current generation, iPad Air at $100 off across the board starting at $499 with the base WiFi model with 64GB of onboard storage.
Apple released the 5th Generation iPad Air on March 18 of this year replacing last years model’s A14 chip with an M1 processor, and ultra wide 12MP Front Camera with Center Stage, and an updated color palette with their 100% recycled aluminum casing.
This release places the iPad Air as a device that picks up on earlier generation Pro specs- particularly the M1 processor that the previous generation iPad Pro touted last year. Because of this, 5th Generation iPad Air should be able to run newer iPadOS features relatively well, particularly the controversial Stage Manager enhancement of iPadOS 16.1.
