Exodus 23:19

“You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.

Deuteronomy 14:3-10

You shall not eat any abominable thing. These are the animals which you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat, the deer, the gazelle, the roebuck, the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope, and the chamois. Every animal that parts the hoof, and has the hoof split in two and chews the cud, among the animals, you may eat. Nevertheless these you shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of those who have the hoof split: the camel, the hare, and the rabbit. Because they chew the cud but don’t part the hoof, they are unclean to you. The pig, because it has a split hoof but doesn’t chew the cud, is unclean to you. You shall not eat their meat. You shall not touch their carcasses. These you may eat of all that are in the waters: you may eat whatever has fins and scales. 10 You shall not eat whatever doesn’t have fins and scales. It is unclean to you.

Deuteronomy 14:12-21

12 But these are they of which you shall not eat: the eagle, the vulture, the osprey, 13 the red kite, the falcon, the kite of any kind, 14 every raven of any kind, 15 the ostrich, the owl, the seagull, the hawk of any kind, 16 the little owl, the great owl, the horned owl, 17 the pelican, the vulture, the cormorant, 18 the stork, the heron after its kind, the hoopoe, and the bat. 19 All winged creeping things are unclean to you. They shall not be eaten. 20 Of all clean birds you may eat.

21 You shall not eat of anything that dies of itself. You may give it to the foreigner living among you who is within your gates, that he may eat it; or you may sell it to a foreigner; for you are a holy people to Yahweh your God.

You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.

Deuteronomy 12:23-25

23 Only be sure that you don’t eat the blood; for the blood is the life. You shall not eat the life with the meat. 24 You shall not eat it. You shall pour it out on the earth like water. 25 You shall not eat it, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, when you do that which is right in Yahweh’s eyes.

Deuteronomy 12:16

16 Only you shall not eat the blood. You shall pour it out on the earth like water.

Romans 14:21

21 It is good to not eat meat, drink wine, nor do anything by which your brother stumbles, is offended, or is made weak.

Romans 14:14-15

14 I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of itself; except that to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. 15 Yet if because of food your brother is grieved, you walk no longer in love. Don’t destroy with your food him for whom Christ died.

Isaiah 65:2-5

I have spread out my hands all day to a rebellious people,
    who walk in a way that is not good,
    after their own thoughts;
a people who provoke me to my face continually,
    sacrificing in gardens,
    and burning incense on bricks;
who sit among the graves,
    and spend nights in secret places;
who eat pig’s meat,
    and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
who say, ‘Stay by yourself,
    don’t come near to me,
    for I am holier than you.’
These are smoke in my nose,
    a fire that burns all day.

Proverbs 24:13

My son, eat honey, for it is good,
    the droppings of the honeycomb, which are sweet to your taste;

Proverbs 25:16

Have you found honey?
    Eat as much as is sufficient for you,
    lest you eat too much, and vomit it.

Proverbs 25:27

It is not good to eat much honey,
    nor is it honorable to seek one’s own honor.

1 Timothy 5:23

23 Be no longer a drinker of water only, but use a little wine for your stomach’s sake and your frequent infirmities.
