Proverbs 25:21-22

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat.
    If he is thirsty, give him water to drink;
22 for you will heap coals of fire on his head,
    and Yahweh will reward you.

1 Peter 3:8-9

Finally, all of you be like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous, not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

22 Don’t say, “I will pay back evil.”
    Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you.

19 Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.” Deuteronomy 32:35
