Exodus 23:8

“You shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds those who have sight and perverts the words of the righteous.”

Exodus 23:6

“You shall not deny justice to your poor people in their lawsuits.”

Exodus 23:4-5

“If you meet your enemy’s ox or his donkey going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again. If you see the donkey of him who hates you fallen down under his burden, don’t leave him. You shall surely help him with it.

Exodus 23:1-2

“You shall not spread a false report. Don’t join your hand with the wicked to be a malicious witness.

“You shall not follow a crowd to do evil. You shall not testify in court to side with a multitude to pervert justice.

Exodus 22:16-17

16 “If a man entices a virgin who isn’t pledged to be married, and lies with her, he shall surely pay a dowry for her to be his wife. 17 If her father utterly refuses to give her to him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.

Exodus 22:2-4

If the thief is found breaking in, and is struck so that he dies, there shall be no guilt of bloodshed for him. If the sun has risen on him, he is guilty of bloodshed. He shall make restitution. If he has nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft. If the stolen property is found in his hand alive, whether it is ox, donkey, or sheep, he shall pay double.

Exodus 22:2-4

If a man borrows anything of his neighbor’s, and it is injured, or dies, its owner not being with it, he shall surely make restitution.

Exodus 22:22

You shall not take advantage of any widow or fatherless child.

Leviticus 24:17

He who strikes any man mortally shall surely be put to death.

Deuteronomy 16:18-19

18 You shall make judges and officers in all your gates, which Yahweh your God gives you, according to your tribes; and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. 19 You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality. You shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.

Deuteronomy 10:17-19

17 For Yahweh your God, he is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the awesome, who doesn’t respect persons or take bribes. 18 He executes justice for the fatherless and widow and loves the foreigner in giving him food and clothing. 19 Therefore love the foreigner, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.

Jonah 4:10-11

10 But the Lord said, “You have been concerned about this plant, though you did not tend it or make it grow. It sprang up overnight and died overnight. 11 And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left—and also many animals?”

Hosea 12:6

Therefore turn to your God.
    Keep kindness and justice,
    and wait continually for your God.

Deuteronomy 27:19

19 ‘Cursed is he who withholds justice from the foreigner, fatherless, and widow.’

All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’

Deuteronomy 27:17

17 ‘Cursed is he who removes his neighbor’s landmark.’

All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’

Deuteronomy 27:18

18 ‘Cursed is he who leads the blind astray on the road.’

All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’

Proverbs 20:23

Yahweh detests differing weights,
    and dishonest scales are not pleasing.

Isaiah 30:18

18 Therefore Yahweh will wait, that he may be gracious to you; and therefore he will be exalted, that he may have mercy on you, for Yahweh is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him. 

Galatians 6:7-9

Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up.

Isaiah 61:8

“For I, Yahweh, love justice.
    I hate robbery and iniquity.
I will give them their reward in truth
    and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

Proverbs 26:27

Whoever digs a pit shall fall into it.
    Whoever rolls a stone, it will come back on him.

Proverbs 28:5

Evil men don’t understand justice;
    but those who seek Yahweh understand it fully.

Proverbs 29:7

The righteous care about justice for the poor. The wicked aren’t concerned about knowledge.

Proverbs 29:4

The king by justice makes the land stable, but he who takes bribes tears it down.
