Key Lenovo officials have recently voiced their confidence in the company’s focus on new 2-in-1 and even 4-in-1 devices. Citing his belief in the “detachable” market’s growth, Gerry Smith, Lenovo’s Executive Vice President, stated that the PC maker is currently combining its PC and Tablet businesses. With focus on enhancing their high volume sales with 4-in-1 devices such as the Yoga Tab 3 Pro (with the capability of being a laptop, tablet, projector and wall mounted screen), Lenovo hopes to emulate success on a grand scale like retail outlets such as Walmart.
