Today, Apple unveiled a new addition to the iPhone 16 lineup, the iPhone 16e. This compact device is available in two color options: black and white. It features the highly anticipated Apple-designed modem, the Apple C1, and is powered by the A18 chip. Notably, the A18 chip enables the iPhone 16e to run Apple Intelligence, unlocking access to innovative features such as Writing Tools, Genmoji, Image Playgrounds, and even ChatGPT.
The iPhone 16e boasts a 48MP Fusion Camera, comprising a 2x Telephoto lens that provides exceptional optical zoom capabilities. Battery life has been significantly enhanced, offering 26 hours of video playback compared to the 15 hours of the iPhone SE it replaces.
Priced at $599 USD, the iPhone 16e will be available for purchase on February 28th.
