Travelers to the beautiful island of St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands, have the opportunity to partake in snorkeling tours at Buck Island National Reserve.
Through Big Beard’s Adventures, sea farers can take a scenic boat ride from Christiansted port and view the northeastern shore of the city, while taking in the sea-breeze and view of the vibrant blue Caribbean Sea. Once at Buck Island, Big Beard’s assistants are more than happy to share their expertise in the art of snorkeling, and visitors are given the opportunity to relax and get accustomed to the activity on the beach of Buck Island’s western shore.
Visitors are then shuttled over to the eastern shore of Buck Island, where, at the lagoon, the now prepared snorkelers are guided around the lagoon where they can snorkel with aquatic life, and view the rare coral reefs that are situated there. For about an hour’s time, snorkelers can also free swim and explore portions of the eastern shore, taking in the breath-taking natural scenery on land and under water.
