Dropbox announced that they will be implementing a new feature where users can access their files on the cloud locally on their machines with no upfront cost in primary storage.
The new technology, called Project Infinite, enables users to view all of their files on their Dropbox account and sync them whenever needed to work on them or view them, without a hit to their free space on their Hard Drives.
The files that are not housed locally have a different icon than those stored locally, and whenever users need the files when an Internet connection is unavailable can easily save them beforehand.
