Twitter launched a custom video player and looping GIFs in their Twitter kit earlier this week.
To enhance engagement, the custom video player enables the viewing of the duration of the video in a preview image, and is designed to blend in with Twitter’s native apps.
GIFs now have a “GIF” badge and auto-loop for added pizzazz.
